Matthew Fox. 'Lost' his respect?

A few months ago Matthew Fox, one of the stars of 'Lost' allegedly cheated on his wife of 19 years with a stripper named Stefani Talbott.

If it is true, it is no surprise to me. I bumped shoulders with many famous celebrities in my time including Bon Jovi and Richie Samboura. They are men too. Just because they are elevated to a world-wide stardom doesn't mean they necessarily have any respect or class.

Pole Dancing Toy for Kids - Stripping away our Children's Innocence

When I was in primary school I found a playboy bunny boy badge hidden in my mommy's jewellry box. It was pink and I thought the bunny looked cute. I had no idea what that symbol represented, but I loved the brooch soooo much that I wore it in my primary school photographs. It was so long ago that I can't remember my mother's reaction when the finished photos arrived. There I was in my brown 'Raggedy Anne' dress with a pink sexualized symbol proudly displayed on my chest.

I heard another story from an aquaintance of mine describing her teenage daughters fascination with the playboy Bunny symbol and how she had it plastered all over her school bags, school books and mobile phone, etc. She said that she asked her teenage daughter if she knew what the symbol represented and she was answered with a shrug. Her mother explained to her that it was a symbol that represented the 'Playboy' pornographic magazine established in 1953 by Hugh Hefner.

Children's toys are becoming more and more 'sexualized' as toy manufacturers stoop to a marketing phenonenom called 'age compression.' This money-making idea targets kids who are growing more mature as the generations pass. Today's children aren't as interested in stuffed toys, but how could these people destroy the innocence of children? These adult-like products are made for children as young as six years old. The psychological damage that these products will cause is beyond belief and you can only hope that parents can recognise the long-term ramifications of such a trend. We need to make a stand and get these toy manufacturers to stop shaping and moulding our children in an unhealthy way. Visit the Alpha Mummy site below to find out more and add your voice.

Noone can verify whether the pole dancing doll is actually available for sale in the US, but why am I not suprised? It has a doll propped on a pole and rotates with blinking lights and a mirror ball. Tesco has also brought out a product called 'The Peekaboo dance pole.' Just the name of this toy makes me cringe.

Exactly how is pop culture contributing to the creation of these products? Get your answers here:

Miley Cyrus Warping our Youth

Miley Cyrus danced on a pole on top of an icecream cart in her show at the Teen Choice Awards 2009. This definately sends out the wrong message to young girls who haven't even reached puberty! She has no sense of responsibility to her fans.

Channing Tatum was a Ripper Stripper!

Channing Tatum is famous for his dancing in the movie "Step Up" and more recently starred in "G.I. Joe." Tatum's secret past as a stripper has leaked out. When he was 18 years old he passed some time in a Chippendale-like club called Male Encounter in Florida. This video shows him stripping down to his jocks and getting the ladies to squeal. Personally I'm not attracted to any male stripper and find women more alluring to watch.

Australian Stripper allegedly rapes 'best man' with a pink strap-on dildo

Buck's nights often get out of control and this case is no exception. A 40-year old stripper, Linda Maree Naggs allegedly strapped on a pink dildo and inserted it into the best man's anus during an XXX rated show. She's been a professional dancer for 13 years and pleaded not guilty, claiming it was "accidental rape."

The alleged victim said, "I knew that there was something wrong down there."

The alleged rape took place in a house in Mornington on September 24, 2007. A County Court jury will decide the verdict. A medical examination showed a small abrasion near the victim's anal verge that was ‘‘most likely caused by blunt trauma.’’

Judge Tim Wood is presiding over the trial.

'Amercian Idol' sues Texas Strip Club for Sexy Spin-Off

The Palazio's Men's Club in Texas has come up with a stripper competition called (drum roll) 'Stripper Idol.' The strippers can win $500 by dancing topless for 60 seconds and the winner is judged by the amount of audience applause.

The 'American Idol' creators Freemantle Media have kicked up a stink about the name of the competition, saying that consumers will get confused or mislead about who is sponsoring the weekly events. Freemantle Media says they are infringing on trademark rights. The clubs logo for the competition has a similar look and feel to the American Idol logo, however the club manager Scott Stevenson believes otherwise, "It's shocking. We're just a local company it's not like we're some big threat."
